So far during my DTS, God has really been stretching me in my faith in Him and showing how faithful He is to us. One of the things I struggle with the most is my finances, I am always worrying about having enough money. One day, on the way home from the laundry mat with one of the students, I saw a lady going through the garbage to get food.

YWAM Monterrey has been called to be a spearhead for Christian people who may be exposed to truth, purpose and destiny of God. We are committed to make things exciting, attractive and innovative. We understand that times are changing and that we can no longer be passive, but that we need to be proactive in what God has called us to do.

The Monterrey metropolitan area is growing extremely big in recent years, many people from other cities move to Monterrey in search of better jobs or to study.

God gave a vision to our ministry which is reflected in our motto: "Monterrey for Christ, Monterrey to the Nations". This theme is divided into two parts which we seek to address through what we do.

“Monterrey for Christ” means that every person has a personal encounter with God.

“Monterrey to the Nations” means to prepare and go to the Nations.

Each ministry, program, or activity is performed in order to carry out and fulfill the calling that God has given us as our mission, in order to ultimatly have a Nation Transformed by the Kingdom of God.
