As a ministry, we have not been called to reach the large masses and great events. We've been called to share the Gospel, one person at a time. That is why our strategy is to focus on one area, to find a church willing to work, and provide for that church the tools that it needs to grow and reach as many people as possible. We do this through youth from all over that come with their church, youth group, christian school or YWAM school. They come to spend a week with us doing dramas, dressing up as clwns, learning puppet skits, going door-to-door distributing Bibles and food, visiting orphanages and jails, doing mall ministry, soccer tournaments, doing construction work to build a church, and using any tool possible to take the message of love and salvation to the lost. So, why don't you take the challenge, get a group together, and come on down here to YWAM Monterrey to have the most exciting week of your life? You don't know how to get prepared? Our vision for the Language School is to offer a platform for men and women who have the desire to learn a foreign language in a short period of time. This platform is to serve individuals, small businesses and Christian ministries in a Christian atmosphere.
Non-Traditional Methods We guarantee you will acquire the ability to communicate in basic English or Spanish through the "Silent Way" method in a short period of time. We offer different teaching levels. Each student will be placed at the appropriate level to their knowledge of the language: I Beginners II Intermediate III Advanced IV Conversational Each student will receive 6 hours of class and 2 hours of activity time per day. Unique Cultural Experience An important aspect of the Language School is the environment. You will not only learn the language but will also be immersed in the Latin culture. While attending the school, you will also experience things such as shopping, attending church, visiting museums, etc. This will give you an opportunity to learn the language in a more effective, dynamic way. School Dates: August 17, 2009 - September 11, 2009 January 11, 2010 - February 5, 2010
