YOUTH WITH A MISSION or YWAM is an international missionary organization of Christian people from many countries around the world. We are dedicated to:

Presenting Jesus Christ personally to this generation.

Ministering to the poor and the needy.

Training and mobilizing believers to fulfill "The Great Commission".

It all began with vision given by God to YWAM ’s founder, Loren Cunningham. He saw waves of young people covering the nations of the world with the message of Jesus Christ. From its beginning in 1960, YWAM has grown to about 1000 established centers, in approx. 135 nations with over 17,000 full-time staff. Each year over 30,000 people are involved in short-term projects. Mobile ministries have gone into every country of the world.

YWAM Monterrey
In 1988, Hurricane Gilbert came through the Monterrey area, causing death, destruction and suffering due to extensive flooding. As a result of the disaster, YWAM started sending short-term outreaches to Monterrey to help the needy. Since then, God has called YWAM to deepen its commitment to Monterrey and the surrounding areas. In 1995, a small team headed up by Roger and Debbi Audorff was sent to pioneer a new YWAM base here. This small team has grown to be a staff consisting of several nationalities, including families and singles serving as full-time volunteers, as well as those who assist during their spring break or summer.
